1) We respect each and every religion, nationality, gender-identity, caste, creed and affiliation. We do not have any space in our mind and heart to even think of discriminating based on any person's religion, nationality, gender-identity, caste, creed and affiliation. We will not allow and tolerate any sort of discrimination based on a person's religion, nationality, gender-identity, caste, creed and affiliation. Strict action will be taken against the violator.
2) Even though the wilderness and pure natural setting of the mountains will put the most restive of minds at ease, there could arise a situation where opinions might be at conflict. Under any circumstance, AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR, BOTH VERBAL AND/OR PHYSICAL, TOWARDS ANY MEMBER OF THE GROUP AND/OR GUIDES/STAFF WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. The violator will be expelled from the course, and if it warrants, reported to the local police station. There are simply no two ways about it.
3) We are adventure lovers who call the mighty Himalayas our home. And it goes without saying that you will always strive to keep your home in order. This implies that we will always strive to keep the Himalayan nature, wilderness and culture as pure as possible. Any attempt at tampering with any of that will certainly be called out and strict action will be enforced to keep the violator in check. Our guides will make every effort in educating our clients about conserving and preserving the local ecology, and respecting the local culture and traditions. But at the end, it is the client's responsibility to not be caught offending any of that.
4) When camping, the group-members need to be mindful of maintaining a peaceful and cordial atmosphere, and try not to disturb the peace of mind of fellow members. Quiet hours while camping need to be adhered to as a policy, but more so, out of respect for fellow campers and good camping etiquettes.
5) Our guides will always be professional, fair and transparent in their conduct and punctual with the day's routine. They will always put the safety of our clients over and above any other aspect of the trek/course/expedition/tour.
6) At any given time during the trek/course/expedition/tour, any sort of drugs and/or substances, prohibited by law, are prohibited to be possessed and/or consumed. Violator will be expelled from the adventure and straightaway reported to the local police station.
7) Any weapon like a knife/machete/knuckle-brace/firearm/wooden-stick/metal-rod/sword/pepper-spray is strictly prohibited to be possessed during the trek/course/expedition/tour. Swiss-Knife and hiking poles are allowed.
8) Privacy of our clients' information will be respected and safeguarded under all circumstances. This includes the information that the clients share with us at the time of booking and during the trek/course/expedition/tour. Their information will be used/processed as per the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 only. Photographs of clients clicked during the trek/course/expedition/tour will never be put on Dare The Himalayas website or any of Dare The Himalayas social media platforms without their consent.
9) All legal matters will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Reckong-Peo - Headquarter, District of Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, India - 172107.
